On August 12th 2026, the moon aligned with the sun in the european skies.
I happened to be not too far from the path of totality (but not in!), so I went to look at it.

At first it looked like the weather was gonna get in the way

It rained for a good 4 hours

Then it cleared up

Then I saw it
